This season, for the first time in our history, the Library Foundation will present Island Book Blast — Boca Grande’s Book Festival!

At this event, local authors will be featured under a tent in the library courtyard, talking to readers about their books. Many of the authors' books will be sold at a pop-up book shop in the loggia.

Garland Pollard will act as a roving reporter, interviewing authors. These conversations will be recorded by Rick Montgomery of Boca Grande TV and will be preserved as an archive of this time in Boca Grande's history, when so many authors are thriving.
